Extruder Barrels are key components of twin-screw and single-screw extrusion systems, providing a controlled environment for melting, mixing, and conveying materials.

Made from high-torque alloy steel (up to 18 Nm/cm²) and materials such as 45 Steel, 38CrMoAlA, and Hastelloy C, the barrels deliver excellent wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and durability, ensuring long-term stability under demanding extrusion conditions.
Structure & Material
Each barrel includes an inner liner and outer shell:
Inner Liner: Contacts materials directly, providing wear and corrosion resistance under high temperature and pressure.
Outer Shell: Offers structural support and houses heating or cooling systems for precise temperature control.
This modular structure allows liner replacement without changing the outer shell—extending service life and reducing maintenance cost.

Open Screw Barrel: Features top or side openings for feeding, venting, or additive injection; commonly used in plastic compounding and pelletizing lines.
