ZME Screw Element
Product Name: ZME Screw Element
Model:φ15 mm ~φ250mm
Applicable brands:Coperion, Leistritz, KraussMaffei, JSW, Toshiba, Baker Perkins, SM Platek, Wenger,Clextral, Bühler,BUSS,etc.
Material: Tool steel, HIP, stainless steel, nickel-based alloy, cobalt-based alloy, etc.
Properties:Wear-resisting, Corrode-resisting and durable
Functional Features
Strong Mixing Ability: ZME screw elements belong to distributive mixing elements and have a powerful mixing effect. They can enable materials to be fully dispersed and mixed in the screw channel. They are usually recommended for the processing of low-viscosity polymers or compounds, and their distributive mixing efficiency is higher than that of kneading blocks.
Reduction of Dead Zones and Material Degradation: The teeth of ZME elements are angled. When rotating, they can not only scrape the roots of the elements but also act on the entire inner wall of the barrel. Compared with some other types of mixing elements, they can eliminate possible dead zones and reduce the degradation of materials caused by long-term residence.
Working Principle
ZME screw elements are formed by opening forward tooth grooves on the screw flights of single-start reverse small-lead screw elements. During the working process, the melt is repeatedly cut in the tooth grooves of the screw flights, thus forming mixing.
