Material Transition Guidance: To enable the material that advances spirally in the screw to smoothly transition to linear motion and enter the die, avoiding material retention caused by the drastic change in motion form and preventing thermal decomposition.
Connection and Fixation: To form a tight connection with screw elements and the mandrel, ensuring effective torque transmission during the screw's operation and preventing loosening or falling off of components.
Fitting Requirement: The surface in contact with the screw element must be perpendicular to the screw axis to ensure tight fitting of the entire surface.
Connection Fastening:
The thread direction of the bolt connected to the mandrel must be opposite to the rotation direction of the screw. This ensures that under the resistance of materials during operation, the two parts are tightened rather than loosened.

Blunt screw tip: There is always a phenomenon of material decomposition due to stagnation in front of the screw tip. Even screw tips with slight curved or conical surfaces are usually insufficient to prevent this. For this type of screw tip, it is generally required to install a breaker plate.
Screw tip with a longer conical surface: As shown in Figure 3, this shape of screw tip still cannot avoid the phenomenon of scorching of stagnant materials at the vertex of the screw.
Screw tip with obliquely cut truncated cone: Its end has an elliptical plane. When the screw rotates, it can agitate the material flow, making it less likely for the material to decompose due to stagnation.
Screw tip with threads on the cone: As shown in Figure 4, this structure can make the material move with the help of threads and is mainly used in the cable industry.
